Occupational Therapy Services
Pediatric occupational therapy services assist childhood development in many skill areas including fine motor, visual motor, sensory integration, motor coordination and strengthening. Children of all ages
can benefit from occupational therapy services to make everyday skills easier and more effective.

Evaluations
The goal of the evaluation is to assess your child’s skills in the areas of fine motor, visual motor, motor coordination and strength. Children can also be evaluated for their ability to process sensory inputs from their environment. The evaluation will determine if your child would benefit from occupational therapy services. The evaluation process consists of a parent questionnaire and standardized testing as well as play based and informal testing. After the evaluation, a comprehensive report is generated. This report includes formal and informal testing results, an in-depth assessment of your child’s strengths and weaknesses and recommendations for therapeutic intervention.
Individualized Treatment
Individual therapy sessions can be provided to children who qualify for occupational therapy services, either in school or at home. Therapy
sessions consist of engaging and therapeutic activities that target the
specific needs of the child. Treatment sessions focus on fine motor skills,
visual motor skills, activities of daily living, motor coordination, strength,
and sensory processing skills.
